How do I mark a day?

Press and hold the water until the drop lands, or tap Done Today. You can also do it without opening the app: from a Home Screen or Lock Screen widget, from the Ripply control in Control Center, on your Apple Watch, or by asking Siri, “Mark my habit done in Ripply”.

How do I add another habit?

Tap + in the row of habits at the top of the screen. You can keep up to five, each with its own goal. Swipe to move between them; the row at the top shows each habit’s water level, with a tick once it’s done today.

What is a freeze?

A freeze covers a missed day so your streak survives it. You earn one for every seven days in a row that you keep a habit going, and you can hold up to two. When you come back after missing a day, Ripply asks whether to use a freeze (Use a Freeze) or let the streak end (Let it end).

Can I add a note to a day?

Yes. Once today is marked, tap the pencil next to it and write a few words — for example, what made today work. Days with a note are marked in the calendar, so you can find them later.

How do I start a habit over or delete it?

Open Settings, then the habit. Start a New Habit clears its progress and streak; Delete Habit removes it and its whole history on all your devices. The last habit can only be started over, because Ripply always keeps one.

My streak didn’t update after I started over

Days you marked before starting a habit over don’t count toward its new streak, even on the same day. Mark today again after the reset. If the problem persists, email us with your iPhone model and iOS version.

Where are the Lock Screen widgets and the Control Center control?

Lock Screen widgets are a separate gallery from Control Center. To add one, lock your iPhone, touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, then tap the area directly under the clock and search for Ripply. The round buttons near the flashlight and camera at the bottom are Control Center controls, not widgets: to add Ripply’s control there, open Control Center, tap + at the top left, then Add a Control, and search for Ripply.

Does Ripply sync across my devices and my Apple Watch?

Yes. If you’re signed in to iCloud, your habits, days and settings sync automatically through your own private iCloud — nobody else, including us, can see them. The Apple Watch app gets your habits from your iPhone and can mark them done. You can turn iCloud sync off at any time in your iPhone’s iCloud settings.

How do I change my reminder?

In Ripply’s settings, under Reminders, choose the time or turn reminders off. If reminders don’t arrive, check that notifications are allowed for Ripply in your iPhone’s Settings and that a Focus isn’t silencing them.

How do I change the theme or the app icon?

In Ripply’s settings, open Theme to choose one of twelve living themes, or App Icon to pick a different icon for your Home Screen.

How do I get a refund?

Ripply is sold through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account and choose Ripply.
